Commercial grade water filtration systems custom made for residential homes, restaurants and Bed & Breakfasts, delivering pure, clean, great tasting water for drinking, cooking and chemical free water for bathing and washing clothes.
Available in multiple configurations and sizes to remove and or reduce volatile organic compounds like chlorine, chloramines (a deadly combination of chlorine and ammonia commonly used by water treatment facilities to kill bacteria that may be present in municipal water,) chloroform, benzene, herbicides, pesticides, pharmaceutical drugs, heavy metals Lead and Mercury, Flouride, Arsenic, tastes, odors and hundreds of other potential contaminants and harmful chemicals that may be found in our drinking water.
Call us for custom configurations for homes with well water experiencing heavy iron or calcium content in the water, or for Ultraviolet (UV) radiation to destroy a
wide range of viruses, bacteria and cysts, protecting you and your
family from potential sickness due to unclean drinking water. We can also custom manufacture systems for commercial applications such as office buildings, hotels or apartments.
How Does It Work?
Option 1: Chemical & Heavy Metal Reduction
This configuration uses three different media types to reduce chemicals commonly found in municipal water like chlorine, chloramine, pesticides, herbicides, pharmaceutical drugs, and heavy metals such as Lead and Mercury.
Stage 1 Centaur - a revolutionary patented media that is designed to reduce chloramines and that rotten egg smell (hydrogen sulfide) through catalytic reaction.
Stage 2 ATC - a patented ceramic impregnated coconut shell media that reduces heavy metals, such as Lead and Mercury, through cation exchange.
Stage 3 High Grade Activated Coconut Shell Carbon - a carbon based media for reducing small molecular weight chemical contaminants. This unique media has an enhanced micro-pore structure that adsorbs twice the amount of contaminants as other carbons.
Capacity, Tank Size and Flow Rate:
- 400,000 gallon - 8" diameter x 44" high, 8 gpm (smaller homes with 1-2 bathrooms)
- 550,000 gallon - 9" diameter x 52" high, 10 gpm (medium homes with 2-3 bathrooms)
- 750,000 gallon - 10" diameter x 58" high, 12 gpm (larger homes with 3+ bathrooms)
Option 2: Fluoride & Arsenic Reduction
Reduces up to 95% of Fluoride and Arsenic from municipal or city water supplies.
If you already have a Chemical & Heavy Metal reduction whole house filtration system installed, select this option to add Fluoride and Arsenic reduction for your municipal or city water.
Capacity, Tank Size and Flow Rate:
- 350,000 gallon - 10" diameter x 54" high, 8 gpm
Option 3: Combination Chemical & Heavy Metals + Fluoride & Arsenic Combination Reduction
This option combines all of the media types described above into a substantially larger tank, instead of requiring the new installation of 2 separate tanks, one for Chemicals & Heavy Metals, and one for Fluoride & Arsenic reduction.
Capacity, Tank Size and Flow Rate:
- 350,000 gallon - 10" diameter x 58" high, 8 gallons per minute
Installation
All systems ship ready to install with an Installation Kit containing fittings for standard 1" plumbing:
- Clear, food grade (BPA-free) sediment housing with integrated shut-off valve
- 5-micron sediment cartridge
- Pre-filter housing wrench
- Flexible connection hose
- 1" PVC connectors
We recommend purchasing a Sediment Cartridge 4-pack to have available to replace the sediment pre-filter when visibly dirty. Typical replacement is 4-9 months, depending upon the amount of sediment in your water supply. Replacing the sediment cartridge will extend the life of your filtration system, preventing sediment from entering the media bed inside the large tank and helping to keep the water clear.
We advise hiring a plumber to install the filtration system for you. If you are comfortable working with PEX, PVC or copper water pipe, cutting into your cold water supply and connecting new fittings to direct water to the filtration system, and then connecting back to your house water line, the installation process is straightforward.
Lifespan:
Typical life is 3-5 years for a family of 4. Actual life will depend upon number of individuals living in your home and more importantly, your average water use for bathing, washing clothes and dishes, drinking and cooking water and whether the outside watering spigots for lawn and plant watering are on the same connection as your house. Check your water bill for average monthly and annual water usage.
