I once tested my tap water with my hot tub test kit and it had more chlorine in it than my hot tub was supposed to have! No wonder why it smells... I get it - chlorine kills bacteria but it also kills me, so I'm glad I can remove it. Love my whole home filter!

After filtering my drinking water for 20+ years, I moved to a new home and it took me a year to get around to installing a whole house water filter. Well, I wish I hadn't waited. The tap water didn't taste bad (but it did have a taste), but now that it is filtered the water is better, and I drink more water. The biggest difference is in the shower. My skin and hair feel so much better. I like that a whole house filter takes care of all of the bathrooms, and any faucet I might get drinking water from. Even brushing my teeth is nicer, and I'll bet it's good for the laundry too. At the rate my household uses water, this whole house filter will last my family for the next 10 years, which makes it very economical.
